Thank you for visiting our web site. I pray that God has blessed you today and I hope that He will lead you into joining one of our activities. God has been so good to all of us here at South Church of God. It is a place where the evidence of God is seen in the lives of His people. The moving of the Holy Spirit is leading us in new directions as seen by the construction of the new church offices and sanctuary. God has opened many doors at this time for the church to move ahead with this project. This is why I can say things at the South Church of God are moving in the direction God wants.

What an awesome calling for God to bring Lynne and myself to this place. The way in which God has shown His love to us through the people of this church is beyond anything that we have ever felt before. God’s Word tells us that they will know who we are by our actions. Well I have seen it here. If you are looking for a God lead, life changing, no nonsense preaching church, I invite you to visit the South Church of God. For we are “A Church That Cares.”

Prayer and Meditation Time
Pastor Rusty will be opening the Church on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7am for a time of prayer and meditation. Anyone may come and pray for the Church and all other concerns on your heart.

South Church Missions
Our missions program has two concerns going on at this time. We will be sending a box to a soldier as often as we can, and need items to send to them. Also, Operation Christmas Child is getting underway. Fill a shoe box with items for a child to be sent to needy children by Samaritan's Purse.

Fall Carnival
The Fall Carnival is for children up to the 6th Grade it will be from 6:00pm-8:30pm at the Church. Invite all children that you know and come and be a part of fun, games, food, and surprises!

The "In Betweeners"
Anyone who fits into the category between Youth and SAMS should plan on being a part of the fun and fellowship each month with "In Betweeners". It is a great time to get together!

Who Are We?

Our church is affiliated with the Church of God of Anderson, Indiana, We are also the sister church to the New Hope Church of God located in Liberal, Kansas.

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be God's inerrant, inspired word - we revere its truth and respect its reproofs.

WE BELIEVE the church is the body of Christ on Earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost, exalt God, encourage God's family, educate for maturity, and equip for ministry.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ will one day return and He will reign forever as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

WE BELIEVE that because of sin, man is without hope of heaven, apart from the new birth, made possible by the Savior's death and bodily resurrection - those accepting Jesus Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into him.
